My Settings

My Settings (left menu) - My Account


You may update your phone number, email address, and password from the My Account page.


Students

Staff

Students may not update their address, name, or username.

Please contact QDA to have this information updated.

Staff members may not update their username.



Personal Settings

My Settings (left menu) - Personal Settings

You may update the color style, dashboard layout, and default widgets on the personal settings tab:



Color Style (theme)

You may select any of the available color styles to change the appearance of your account.

Layout

The layout setting will determine how the widgets are displayed on your dashboard.

Widgets

Widgets are various information boxes that you can have displayed on your dashboard.

Reset

You may reset back to the default options at anytime by selecting the reset button on the bottom of the page.

Opt-Out Notifications (System Emails)

My Settings (left menu) - Opt-Out Notifications

The Maestro SIS will send out emails when various system actions occur. For example, when a student is added to a course the teacher of the course will be notified via email. To opt-out of these emails, check the box next to the notification type and save.

Personal Calendar

You may enter personal calendar events by going to the Calendar Module - Add Event. School wide calendar events will automatically be posted.

Maestro has a built in message center. At this time messages sent within Maestro are not delivered to the user’s external email accounts. 

You can access your messages by selecting the link on the top right or selecting inbox on the left.



System Generated Emails

If you receive system generated email you will have a copy in your inbox.

Must Read

Some emails must be opened before they can be deleted.

Sending a Message

Select the compose message to open a new message:



Select your recipients and create your message like any other email message:

Odysseyware will auto-logout students that are inactive for twenty-five (25) minutes. Often times, students are auto-logged out while typing an extended learning response. To prevent this from occurring, students should press the refresh button every ten minutes. 


The refresh button is pictured above (circled in green). 

The refresh button will update the word count, check spelling, and reset the inactivity timer.

Odysseyware will count down the final sixty (60) seconds before logging a student out due to inactivity. To stay logged in, students can reset the timer by pressing the KEEP ME SIGNED IN button:
